Hi, I'm Ahni

I use she/they pronouns, and I am a freelance book editor and designer. I am pursuing a masters in book publishing at Emerson College, and I have a vested interest in helping people to tell their stories, and for turning those stories into experiences through high-quality editorial and design services.

My Story

I have always been a book nerd. For as long as I can remember, I have always had at least a few that I'm reading, and an endless TBR pile. When I was in middle school, I was introduced to the idea of multimodal literature, and became incredibly interested in the way that stories can be told through multiple mediums. With this in mind, I pursued both my Bachelor's degree and my Master's degree in Publishing at Emerson College, where I received industry-level training on countless steps throughout the publishing process. I enjoy design and editorial the most thoroughly, and am excited to continue expanding my portfolio through freelance work!

Favorite Books

If you're ever in need of recommendations, I am a bottomless well! In order to be a good editor, you have to be a good reader. I read all genres and all over the place, but here are some of my favorites!
